A Therapy tailored the needs of the child. Meanwhile, The One-off treatment did not prove to be good. It can help the child reach a certain level of independence, social and work skills. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
During the last few years in the treatment of autism, HBOT is a good therapy. But unfortunately, this method is very specific and complex for certain doctors and pharmaceuticals.
From previous studies, HBOT could successfully treat the autism. Recently this hypothesis doesn’t confirm a qualitative research.
Final results have shown that HBOT leads to improvements and mitigations of the entire range of autism disorders.
Daniel A. Rossignol of the International Center for Disease Development in Melbourne, US performed a controlled study in 6 different US centers, hyperbaric treatment with children with autism.
This study concluded that the symptoms of autism significantly reduced in children treated with HBOT in comparison with the control group. Children under the age of five with lower intensity and initial autism levels had a more marked level of improvement in the disorder.
Positive results achieved in 80% of children in the treated group and 38% in the control group. However, there was no sign of No adverse effects of HBO treatment during the study.
Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)
In another study, experts have used an approach known as the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). It combines the use of applied behavioral analysis and techniques based on interpersonal relationships.
In a group who underwent therapy for 20 hours a day. During the five days and additional therapy in contact with their parents, moreover, the children improved their coefficient of intelligence by an average of 18 points.
